@andrew_owens7680 Kyle's case is open and shut self-defense

It wasn't his fault. The armorer had one job which is to make sure the guns used are safe and instead they took a prop from the movie, shoot some live rounds through it and didn't bother to inform anyone or check if it was loaded before having it back on set.

Well Kyle's attorney said he will go after them if this trial goes well. You know it is easier to win the case for slander when you have a ruling in your client's favor first.

I heard that his defense attorney is planning on going after people who said crap about Kyle if he gots a not-guilty verdict.

Victim automatically implies someone is guilty when there is a clear self-defense angle to this case. The proper term would be accuser and the accused as that doesn't imply someone is guilty right off the bat.

Yep. Innocent until proven guilty.

That was the smaller violation. He had a gun which he shouldn't legally have because he was on Probation.

@Bourikii2992 The weapon changed hands multiple times before Alec got it so it isn’t really his fault. By your logic, all those people had one job. That of course ignores the armorer is some who literally has firearms handling as their one job.
1
@Bourikii2992 By that same logic it was the fault of everyone who handled the gun for not doing the same thing.
1
@Bourikii2992 So all the people who handled the gun before Bladwin are just as responsible.
1
@Bourikii2992 Except not really. The Armorer is charge of the firearms. The only way a producer would have that level of control is if they wanted to be like Tom Rothman and be a micro-manager and those producers get a bad rep.

Most of the time self-defense does lead to a court trial to establish even if it is open and shut. Most don't get this much media attention.
