  2. The AR-15 doesn't belong on the battlefield. It isn't good as a frontline infantry weapon or as a DMR. Because it is a civilian design. Then again neither of the weapons are AR-15s. The guy in the middle picture is holding a SIG-Sauer MPX variant and the one on the right looks like he has a Tavor.

  7.  @thehumanoddity  You don’t have any idea what you are talking about. ArmaLite is a different company from Colt and those guns had M designations because they had military modifications.

  8.  @thehumanoddity  Except that isn't the story the AR-10 was the gun tested against the M-14 and the M16 is modified from the original Armalite AR-15. Most obviously the AR-15 had the charging handle location inside the carrying handle instead of directly behind it. Other modifications were reducing the trigger pull weight to seven pounds, improving the trigger return action, a two-piece handguard replacing single-piece handguard on AR-15, larger magazine well, molded rubber buttplate on the stock, opening the hole for the buffer in the stock, reducing the receive contact surfaces on the bolt carrier, altered feed ramp, 20 round magazine instead of a 25-round mag, the barrel was two ounces lighter and unlike the original AR-15 it had a flash suppressor.

  11.  @somethingsomething8511  They aren't even big. One is a pistol caliber PDW and the other is a bullpup meaning by definition it is shorter than an AR-15.
