The Prequels actually used more practical effects than the entire OT in each movie. The Aliens still hold up and were innovative with Jar Jar being the first motion-captured character.

@TheRedAvenger100 Except they clearly aren't following the books as you can tell from what we see in the trailers. The Harfoots are the main race of Hobbits who did nothing in the Second Age and Galadrie;'s plot is clearly cut from whole cloth.

@TheRedAvenger100 Except if you read the books you know the description of Galedrial the series uses is wrong. She wouldn’t be a commander of a northern army as that didn’t exist and the claim she wants to avenge her brother doesn’t work as that requires she wait 13,000 years to attempt to avenge two of her brothers who died in the first age. Or how Elrond is said to be a architect and politician when in the lore he was a healer and lore master. Or beardless dwarf woman when the appendix mentions dwarf women look so much like dwarf men the other races think there is no dwarf women.
