I thought their darkest secret was the giant nation shaped elephant in the room regarding their namesake that is still illegal to discuss in Turkey.

Just to clarify TVT is one of the inspirations for Gavin Long. He also claimed membership in the Nation of Islam a notorious hate group, praised the earlier racial shooting of Dallas Police Officers by another black man and cited the shooting of Anton Sterling (a black man shot for reaching for a weapon in a justified shooting according to multiple agencies that investigated the incident) which also happened Baton Rogue a few days before Long committed his own shooting. TYT shares some of the blame but it is best to not ignore the other influences of his actions.

Why they haven’t been cancelled by the left for their name almost evades me. I say almost because I remember they don’t give a damn about Christians.

okay8136 There is the difference between being funded by the government and being owned by the government. I am pretty sure these organizations get donations from private interests too.
