  1. "Violence is always a necessary and important part of social justice." I am calling BS. Martin Luther King did to advance civil rights with his non-violent protests. Ditto for Gandhi in India. There is a reason these people are the household names when it comes to civil rights and not the violent extremists.

  2.  @djm5687  So were Malcolm X and other more militant activists. It is an occupational hazard of being an activist but as MLK said, “No one really knows why they are alive until they know what they'd die for.” I should also point out they became martyrs after their deaths.

  4. There is already a 26th Amendment. Been on the books since 71 it is the Amendment that lowered the voting age to 18.
