Even I can make the disconnect. When I first played MW2, I didn't even think much about the controversial No Russian Mission as I understood they were just pixels on a screen.

@JJ-zr6fu Only the bad ones.

And it isn't even correct no Call of Duty game has the AR-15 as a weapon.
3
Not to mention the story mode has actual goals like Secure the President, Defend the base from being destroyed and Execute the surrendering Germans.
2
Yep. Leading questions are generally not acceptable in court. Any competent lawyer would object if during cross someone asked "When did you stop beating your wife" which is basically what the prosecutor did. Objecting was basically mandatory.
2
No it means there will be no retrial and no verdict.
1
There isn't a verdict yet but there are now some lesser charges.
1
I thought Ratman was the Aperture Employee who saved Chell and created one of Portal's most enduring memes.
1
He did point out that he was already assaulted with that skateboard which is a better point than being flippant towards the prosecutor.
1
Nah the two shots fell on its face when Kyle didn't say he was deliberately trying to kill Huber. Also bringing a rifle to a protest is the short skirt defense implying Kyle is asking to be attacked.
1
@VinWeiLee27171 a good cross this was not.
1
@VinWeiLee27171 From the Prosecution to try to prove their case which he failed to do.
1
Nah as the maneuver is perfectly legal. He was being asked a leading question.
1
@RefurbishedPrototype The Judge allowed it because it was legal. He objecting to a leading question. Asking questions like those is very unethical.
1
@thisisone9529 Sorry but asking a deliverately loaded question like the prosecution did is unethical. He also wasn’t a witness he was the defendant
1
It may be because of the trailers for Richard Jewel but he looks more like Sam Rockwell.
1
And he claims there are AR-15s in the games. In all the games I played of the series which is almost all of them. I haven't seen a single AR-15.
1
They don't. It was pointed out it was illegal when the star witness admitted to having one.
1
And he said the AR-15 is in the games. It is not.
1
@Darjaboo Yeah if he was younger I would expect to use that gavel on the Prosecutor's face.
1
Yes and this time they would they can bring a case that would likely go better for them. It is do-over with their screw-ups in this trial being swept under the rug.
1
Yeah I am surprised Sean didn't discuss that. He saw it was leading question and took the door that allowed him out of it.
1
The 5th is far less controversial and Wisconsin and Illinois have their own gun laws.
1
There are occasionally civilian weapons in the games. Examples include the Desert Eagle, the WA2000 and the infamous Model 1887. The AR-15 was never one of them though.
1
They can call it out or answer it without falling into the trap. Kyle did this when he said he wasn't looking to kill with his first two shots.
1
Nah at point blank range where you burn someone from the muzzle flash, the rifle is more deadly.
1
@JJ-zr6fu The prosection shot himself in the foot multiple times during cross. His lawyers weren't objecting as it is rude to interrupt your enemy when they make a mistake.
1
Whitey Powers That is more damaging than .40 caliber.
1
I have played just about every Call of Duty game and none of them I played have an AR-15. There are only M16s (in one game called the Colt M16A1) M16A4s, M4A1s and in one game, Remington R5s.
