Or maybe because their bosses aren't corrupt.

I don't think of genocide and completely over-ruling the Supereme Court like a tyrant when I think of a hero. And he wasn't for New Orleans either. He and Pakenham didn't get the memo the war was over.

We actually shed blood over New Orleans because neither Andrew "Genocide" Jackson or nor Sir Admirial Pikenham got the memo that the War of 1812 ended 15 days ago. Also the Louisiana Purchase was named that because the entire tract of land we purchased from Napolean was called the Louisiana Territiory at the time and we divided it up into different states latter with Lousiana at the bottom.

Because most of it is wrong. The Battle of New Orleans wasn't that important as it only happen because Jackson and Pakenham didn't get the memo the war ended. And the Loisiana purchase was called that because the entire territory we purchased from France was called Louisiana by the French at the time.

@jeffslote9671 You say that but Atlanta is a pretty important city and is where people were moving to from California both companies and people.

That is a nice strawman that never happens.

@godsamongmen8003 Self-defense has to proven in the court of law. And you realize the law enforcement isn't selective the city is selective.

@godsamongmen8003 You realize that you are ignoring the root of the problem here which is the city government.

@godsamongmen8003 The thing is again self-defense isn't always an open and shut thing. And even when it is it still has to proven in court of law. If cops have to face a trail of their peers for everytime they shoot someone no matter how obviously justified it is, I don't see why regular people can't do the same. It is all part of the separation of powers. Police enforce the law while the district attorney and the courts interpret the law.

We wanted impressment ended and it ended and we burned York to the ground so I take that as a win. Really how you look at it, the War of 1812 was a win for everyone except the local tribes. Everyone got what they wanted.

We destroyed York first. And we got the practice of impressment ended so that is a win.

Nope the war was declared on June 8th 1812. It started then.
