That's too much exaggeration. The dirty part is true but you've to remember that in India but even 5% pay direct taxes but expect everything to be like developed countries. India's gender equality is very good too. In South it's good, in north it's decent & improving. Women are involved in all sort of jobs & breaking all Taboos with few exceptions. Well, those exceptions are in other countries too. Everything is sensationalised in India. Try to appreciate the good things. FDI is highest ever to record numbers of start ups opening. It's changing. Many developed countries rank Below India in happiness index. There are loads of other factors to that.
