Punjab isn't even within the top 10 in terms of paying taxes. All are dominated by Southern, Northern & Western states like Gujarat.

You forgot the venomous & religious statements they were giving. Separatist statements. There are 30 states in India. 99% participants were Sikhs. Only to create ruckus, riot & needed an excuse to corner the govt by any means. Another separatist wing in Canada started Anti India stuff by quoting these protests. So many Khalistanis came to India to take part in it. Everywhere religious flags & stupid religious activism. 99% wouldn't even know any clauses of farm law but they had to join it anyway like they're fighting some ancient religious war. Don't quote UP. Commoners of UP has nothing to do with it, neither had to do with in other states. If they were really pro farming they would be thinking of poor farmers & let the law be passed. Punjab isn't an agricultural state anymore. You think you won the world or something. People run away from there to every part of the world.

They always work with religious motives, elect leaders with religious motives. Hindus have always believed in multiculturalism. That's why India has such a huge minority population. I'm a minority Hindu myself. Minorities are Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists... Not these but those two I've mentioned above. Those two are the ones that make the most arguments like this. Killed so many Hindus & took Golden temple as ransom to negotiate with govt. They had no moral authority. They knew what was coming for them. Worked out nicely. Lastly don't talk about loyalty.
