  1. Moldovans were not interested in unification with Romanian. The only reason Moldovans wanted to obtain Romanian passports was because Romania was allowed to join the EU.Was purely economic! Romania was allowed to join the EU prematurely and I speak of first hand experience having spent time in both countries!

  4.  @NarcisTheDictator  Really,having been to Transnistra numerous times I believe the population of Transnistra or PMR would say different! How will get it back?Not by force for sure!Thousands of people in Transnistra are Russian citizens!

  5.  @NarcisTheDictator  The PMR defence force is not going to give up their weapons! Also they are better equipped than the Moldovan Army and to be fair the current Moldovan president has played down any thoughts of an arms race!

The EU commission has always said that the Transnistra issue must be resolved first and Romania would be under get pressure not the absorb Moldova but you forgot that not everyone wants to unification! Things should be left as they are for the time being!

  8.  @ketelin4285  Lagging behind?Have you ever visited Moldova and Transnistra? Transnistra has all the industry and without Transnistra Chisinau would be in complete darkness because the main electricity power generation plant is located in Transnistra!

  11.  @MrTaxiRob  That's the situation now but Moldova didn't need ban flights because the EU banded the flights and Air Moldova can't fly over Ukraine for safety reasons. Your hated for ethnic Russians does show!
