  2. ​ @richardgallagher4880  Exactly, Blairs mother was a Presbyterian from Ulster! Blairs mother was British and never had Irish Republic citizenship! Under Irish Republic rules if your born in Northern Ireland you can claim Irish citizenship by grandparents rights! The Republic is one of the very few countries in Europe to allow this, only Romania allows citizenship through grandparents!
