Zelenskiy,has some blame for the current situation! He was elected on a platform for peace and said that he wanted to workout a long-term peace agreement that would end the conflict in Donbass with Russian speakers!He then promptly banned the Russian language in Ukraine and then ramped up paramilitary activity in Eastern Ukraine! He was told by the ultra Nationalists in Ukraine that predominantly come from Western Ukraine that an agreement that protects Russian speakers and gives a limited autonomy to the Donbass was unexceptable!He also listened to outside forces promising support and unlimited cash to take Russia on!He was silly and weak! Both Macron and Merkel,supported the Minsk 2 peace agreement and wanted Zelenskiy to stick to it!Zelenskiy walked away from this agreement and now we are where we are!

@warnpassion Don't forget Zelenskiy is a rich sacrificial goat! If this all goes wrong and it looks that it will all go wrong for Zelenskiy in the medium term.He will not suffer and live a happy comfortable life in Israel or America!

@pauldean8638 If you listen to the nonsense propaganda that was being put out,Zelenskiy was the Winston Churchill of modern times and was only a matter of a few weeks that Russian forces would be pushed back into Russia and Crimea could be taken by Zelenskiy leadership!The media actually thought the public at large would believe this long-term! It's clear the current Kyiv administration are losing and it's time that a ceasefire is called,date for rapid peace talks implemented!A peace agreement is the only way out of this!

@pauldean8638 Most of Europe didn't want this conflict! This conflict was engineered by the American Democratic party beginning in 2014,forcing a the Ukrainian president out of office and installation of a Nationalist even fascist government! The Democrats have it in for Russia! The French,Germans and Italians are all regularly on the phone to Putin and they want a peace agreement to get started but they can't upset Joe so do it on the quiet! Peace talks are inevitable at some point!
