  1. Syria is being carved up! HTS who were extremists only a few weeks ago, Russia have made a deal with HTS for the time being Russia will hold the bases in the west of Syria. Turkey who don't like the Kurds and the US funds the Kurds. Turkey is happy for Russia to stay, because it gives Turkey political leverage on the US.
