  4.  @gavinhillick  Ukraine would have had to sign over declare that Crimea is not part of Ukraine and has no ambition on Crimea it is Russian.Also is a possibility that the Donbass region would have had to be signed over to Russia officially.Even with on those terms would be a long shot!NATO does not allow countries to join that have current on going disputes.It is perfectly logical because NATO members do not want to be dragged into conflicts unnecessary!

  5.  @gavinhillick  I could actually have sympathy but Ukraine is being used and the outside powers don't really care for Ukraine.Ukraine is just a tool to force a new Russian government!Ukraine is now in massive debt because of this.Many think that the weapons and the cash to prop up the economy is a gift.It is not!Biden said it.Its lend lease!Ukraine win lose or draw,will have to hand over assets to foreign banks.

  6.  @gavinhillick  Most NATO members don't want to be involved directly in a conflict and certainly not after Afghanistan!If NATO really was all on board for a conflict with Russia they would be in there directly openly fighting but that all members want,with the exception of Poland.Some members are more involved than others.
