  1. Sky neglected to mention that the EU vote is linked to the presidential election as well. Its almost guaranteed the minimum of 33% that's needed will be achieved, but 2 thirds of the Moldovan parliament is required to vote in favour to actually officially recognise the referendum. That is not a give because Sandu who also has Romanian citizenship, doesn't have enough seats to steamroll it through.
