Zelenskiy is completely reliant on the West now and if the economic cost starts to mount then Zelenskiy will be forced into peace negotiations!

@Jondiceful Russia will hold the predominantly Ethnic Russian Eastern part and that is not a win.Interesting angle.

@Jondiceful I would put my house on it and the only way to get anything out of this through negotiations as the west is starting to float the idea for winter.The top US general has even admitted that the Ukrainian forces have done their best and is unrealistic to assume that they can without massive casualties and billions of dollars of equipment lost can substantially move further east!

@worldspam5682 Russia are not the nazis!And the west are not willing to fund this for ever.Just being realistic! If even the top US general is floating the idea that winter is a good time for the start of negotiations that is saying something!Even the former head of the French army said on Thursday that this conflict is not doing Europe any good and negotiations should start immediately!

The river is a natural barrier and the river was a Russian problem but the river is now Kyiv problem!Is near impossible to cross it unopposed and with high casualties.It doesn't matter the media is saying in general that the winter pause is coming and even saying that winter is a good time to start peace negotiations!Even the top US general has suggested that the Ukrainian forces have done there best.Is unrealistic to think that they can move more to the east. The irony is that Kyiv has no choice in negotiations if the West wants an end to this Zelenskiy will have to just go along with it!It's the West that supply the weapons and the fuel including keeping Western Ukraine from economic crash!Is the West predominantly America and Russia that have the authority!That is the irony!

@worldspam5682 Just like the Ultra Ukrainian nationalists that harassed ethnic Russians in the Donbass for 8 years and Zelenskiy was elected on a peace platform did the opposite!Your saying that the BBC and DW news that now cover this up.Are wrong when they made documentaries with the titles Ukraine neo Nazi fanatics on the rise!Azov Battalion is not a neo Nazi Battalion!They were against peace and were always saying that they were going on the offensive drive every ethnic Russian out of the Donbass!It never happened and in the end it didn't work out to well for Azov!The former Ukrainian president that Zelenskiy defeated in elections said that Russians were a different species!Zelenskiy stood on a peace election and then once elected said that Russians were a different type!

@worldspam5682 Hope Zelenskiy has cashed in all the offshore bank accounts.So other tax payer's don't have to foot the bill and I suspect that is why peace negotiations are being floated now.I wonder if the Italian mansion that Zelenskiy sold a couple of months ago for 37 million Euro was being used to actually pay for something!Had a swimming pool with jacuzzi.

@hg6996 Germany and Europe are still buying Russian gas and at high prices.The Ruble is at an all time high!Germany would start taking Russian gas again immediately if it weren't for the conflict and as soon as a permanent line is drawn in what was Ukraine and a peace agreement in place Italy and Germany extra will gradually start taking gas again!Hungary has refused to stop and will keep using Russian gas for years will be no transition to other suppliers.What is left Ukraine will have to beg the West for gas supply and I don't know how the gas can be supplied.Ukraine gets gas from Russia at very reasonable prices and the gas has not been turned off yet.They are fortunate that the gas pipeline that runs through Ukraine supply's Eastern Europe including Austria and Germany.That is the reason the pipeline has not been cut by Russia or the West because Ukraine would freeze!The sanctions have not worked in the way they had hoped!Sanctions take years to have an effect and especially if a country has taken measures beforehand as Russian did.

@yourneighbourhooddoomer Moldova is staying out of this conflict and Moldova it's self is not completely for Romania!Thousands of Moldovans live and work in Russia!Relations with Transnistra were improving and the last thing the West needs when there is peace negotiations being floated is trying to cause a conflict with Transnistra and that will antagonise average Russians in Russia!You want Russians to actually believe that their language and ethnicity is being destroyed!You want see hundreds of thousands volunteering!Yes great policy!Not even Zelenskiy has touched anything near Transnistra!
