  3. Kinzinger is an observer, not a participant of Congress; his statements reflect CNN’s positions more than those of Congressional Republicans. Otherwise, there would not have been a slowdown in US aid, and numerous polls would not show that “we have sent more than enough aid” is a majority position in the US.

  4. I saw who was entering J-school years ago at a US “public Ivy” university, and I’m utterly unsurprised at the state of US media. They were lower quarter students and nine of ten were already wearing political blinkers. Granted, the lower quarter at that university was substantially higher IQ than average, but these folks were almost universally lacking in critical thinking. I rely on think tanks (both sides), news services and European media.
