  1.  @timeames2509 Has everyone forgotten that the Russians have many attack submarines, while the Ukrainians have no ASW capability, since they no longer have a navy? Interdiction/strike of the Ukrainian ports has always been the lowest risk and highest yield escalation for Russia. It’s possible they held it back as a quid pro quo for attacks on the Kerch bridge.

  2. A tank’s lifespan on the battlefield is days, a couple weeks at best. If it’s not destroyed, what puts it back in action? Trained recovery/maintenance personnel and spare parts. A highly heterogeneous equipment array (eg artillery pieces of eight or nine different types, some requiring specific ammunition not usable in another system) is an enormous logistical headache to keep operational.
