“The Ukrainians are under severe pressure and the line of contact is moving backwards over a frontage of over 100 km, but let’s talk about a sunk patrol ship”. The Ukrainians would devoutly wish the current situation was a stalemate. Let’s have serious commentary about serious situations.

@marcopalazzo9349 The Russian use of glide bombs hasn’t decreased. Even if Ukrainian claims of aircraft downed are accepted, Russian 2023 production of multirole aircraft is ~double the losses from Jan 2023 to present. Clearly, if the Russians continue what they’ve been doing, they consider the effect worth the attrition.

@itsteoroman That there has been no decrease in Russian bombing gives the lie to this. And the Patriots that are being used close to the line of contact are being hunted and attrited as well.
