  1. I remember when the PLO infiltrated and twice took hostages in Maalot and made demands. The Israelis made the decision not to negotiate, and told the PLO terrorists to come out or die. In one instance the IDF had to assault a school and some children were killed in the killing of the terrorists. But the PLO only tried this twice once they proved to be suicide missions.
