  2. I really like this Batman and this Alfred. Sure it was dark and gloomy but Tim Burton made it work well with what DC usually goes for with the character of Batman, especially in a city like Gotham. This is a Batman cult classic to watch and enjoy, in my book

  3. Back then people wanted to view superheroes as not so dark and gritty and put it as those type of movie concepts should be aimed more towards mature/adult audiences. Little did they know as a kid I very much enjoyed watching these types of movies back then, even though it was supposed to be a superhero movie

  4.  @DeathBringer769 marketing campaigns were different for child audiences back then and they switched up thanks to our generation growing up into the new millennium because they noticed how kids were attracted to dark and gritty material with mature aspects put in them
