@wo1vereen the problem is that it isn't just a few things is it? It is everything. Your religion depends on the integrity and sanity or at least, lack of gullibility of Mohammad. But - he deceived his father inlaw regarding his marriage to Hadija -he was suicidal when he first received a revelation - he was deceived by Satan, )Satanic verses) or lied and then pretended it was Satan - he had convenient revelations that meant he could have more wives, his adopted sons wife, and that people wouldn't hang around long after dinner (yeah right!) On what grounds do you trust this man? Based on the evidence, why do you think he did not just make the whole thing up

@mhizummy2091 like a lot of Muslims, he has an idea in his head that Allah is good and merciful and just, maybe even loving. But the god they want him to be is much more like Yahweh. If only they knew

@wo1vereen I didn't say I am full of love and compassion just for you. And you are a Muslim. If not, deny here that Allah is god and Mohamnad is his prophet. Agree with my previous statements earlier that you are ignoring, that Mohammad is deceitful. You are right though, I hate violence, oppression, deceit and false religions. And I wish to spread the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Come to Jesus.

Doesn't make it true tho mind. why do Muslims say that people who aren't Muslims are closed minded and people who are Muslims are open minded? I wasn't born Christian. Were you born Muslim? I was open minded and became Christian. I considered Islam, but it relies on one man, Mohammad, to be honest. And he wasn't. So my open mindedness caused me to reject Islam. Not blindly follow it

@u-kneeque one of the problems with Islam is that to understand it you have to be a scholar. That means mere mortals who can only see error after error and problem after problem haven't a hope. Most people have to be blind followers .You have just admitted that yourself. Well not for me. My faith is based on intellect and reasoning. And Christianity has a beautiful simplicity alongside its profundity. Anyone can understand it, and anyone can go deep.

@u-kneeque my Book has not been changed. That's a lie your scholars tell you and you believe it. Have you ever checked? Gospels were written by eyewitnesses of Jesus. Then copied repeatedly and spread far and wide. If someone wanted to change it, they would have had to gather all the copies from across Christendom then rewrite to the version they wanted, then send it back out and destroy all the others. When, why and how did they do that? Answer me that. While your book relied on oral tradition for years. You have no knowing how much they got wrong. You just claim they got it right which is risible. Scraps of writing were all over the place. Eventually Uthman gathered them all, decided what to keep and destroyed the rest. It is your book that has the problem, not mine. And what is very sad, is you close your eyes to the fact. The Hafs and Warsh Qurans are different; you don't even know what is in the Uthman Quran. And you don't know what he burned. You do know that your Quran makes no sense if you just have the Quran, but no Bible and no Hadiths. It says nothing useful...except that I should be killed.

@u-kneeque ok. I agree that we are free to believe whatever we like, but our belief does not affect the truth.. Plenty of intelligent, well read people are atheists and Christians and other religions too. My argument is that Islam is clearly false. It is a cult. Mohammad invented it. He gained wives, wealth and power as cult leaders do. Muslims are indoctrinated from birth, told they have the truth, typically told not to question, their book tells them they should be killed if they leave and that leaving brings disgrace on the family. It is no surprising that such indoctrination, from birth, by people you love and trust, results in blind faith. Many Muslims have left, but dare not say. They are scared of dusgrace and death. Now I know there is some of that in the Catholic and extreme protestant church, it is typical human behaviour. But the difference is in what Mohammad did and taught and how he lived compared with Jesus. Jenna alone with its 72 virgins for men, and general overlooking of women, is enough for anyone to know that was made up by a man trying to attract people to the religion.

@u-kneeque if you cannot trust Bukhari, why can you trust the Quran? It also relied on oral transmission and someone who was not "Allah's partner". What does "Allah's partner" mean? Is Mohammad also God. You are on very dodgy ground
