  2. @KenWilliams-up9qi  yes, i know they can be lived in year round but key factors in defining a yurt are that it is portable, circular, has an accordion lattice wall, a tension band, radial rafters leading up to a central compression ring and is covered in felt or fabric. Can people expand on the "traditional" definition of a yurt? Yes.

  3. @KenWilliams-up9qi  It is not a regular "tent" but it is described as a type of tent by many. It is also described as a shelter, but so can a tent be called that or my house be called that, but my house and tent aren't the same thing.
