@thejokeisinyourpants since when have they stopped bringing up the odor of weed? Just yesterday, in the preliminary hearing, deputy Eggers testified about it. Could she have made up the weed smell to be able to search his car? Sure. But that still doesn't give kenny a valid reason or right to kill an officer. He could've got a lawyer and argued the validity of the search in court.

You can't argue that it's self defense to kill an officer who used a taser on him. After the second taser hit, the first one didn't connect, he had a chance to comply yet again or get tased once more. He was asked to get out over 30 times. And you using the tired "he feared for his life" excuse, why was he in such fear? Kenny had a lengthy rap sheet and one included a traffic stop where he pulled a gun and held it to his own head to avoid going to jail. He has made it to jail alive in every single police interaction he's had, and he's had plenty. So why was he so scared? So scared of a taser? You comply and fight your charges in court.

@brucesmith1544 they're not expecting him to comply while actively being tased. The point is to tase them, make them see how much it hurts and after it ends, hopefully it forces the suspect to comply because they don't want to be tased again. They gave him that chance between the second and third tase. The first one didn't work because kenny was able to pull the wires before contact. What is your suggestion to handle this? She had already asked him over 30 times to get out. Deputy McCowan gets there and tells him multiple times to comply with orders. Deputy Eggers then tries to use a hands on approach to unbuckle him and force him out of the car. That fails when Kenny fights her. The next step would be to tase him. Had they pulled out their guns, you all would've had a problem with that as well. Had they waited for a bunch of other officers to arrive and they all pull him out of the car, you would've had a problem with it too. How do you get someone who's non compliant out of a car?
