@travisstoycon8248 she doesn't have to tell him every single thought she has. She told him she smelt weed and he would need to step out. She told him that gave her probable cause to search. Which by law it does. She doesn't have to bring a dog either. Now, had kenny got out when she asked the stop would've proceeded and she would've then searched his car and had him perform a field sobriety test. She, by law, already had probable cause to pull him out because of him riding in the other lane, which gives probable cause to administer a field sobriety test. He could technically refuse the field test, but he would've been arrested and taken to the jail for a breath or blood test. You agree to those tests when you get your license. Refusing equals losing your license. She doesn't have to think he smoked the weed, and she did say she didn't accuse him of smoking, just that the car smelled like it. Had she found no weed and he passed the field tests, he would've gone home, but we know he had a gun, so in reality, he would've been arrested for the gun. Which he could've fought in court if he wanted to. Everything was well within the rights of the law whether you disagree or not

@Thetequilashooter1 i feel like you're purposely trying to misread what I'm writing. I even said that we do not have an obligation "BY LAW" to help Ukraine. So, yes, obviously by what I've wrote, I understand that it's not a treaty. It still doesn't mean that Ukraine, Uk, and many Americans feel that we still have an obligation to help protect their sovereignty and territory because of us signing the memorandum. You said we weren't allies when we signed it. Are you saying we are now? We're not NATO allies with them but we've had a "diplomatic relationship" with them since 1991, which is before the 1994 signing of the memorandum. If we don't consider them a "friend" why have we up until now, given them aid without wanting in return? Sounds pretty friendly. You keep trying to clarify that the nukes were not wanted and I agreed but that still doesn't change the reasons why the Budapest memorandum was signed and what Ukraine wanted from it. I mean, there's tons of articles even from UK that seem to think we all have an obligation to help because of signing that memorandum. And just so we're clear, an obligation doesn't have to be "by law," it can be morally bound or sense of duty.

Since when in our community or even in America, do we not honor fallen soldiers? Every single soldier that has died from this area is memorialized, and you can visit said memorial at the court house. Hopefully, you participated in the funeral parades that happen when a fallen soldier is brought back home as well. Are you at the airport to celebrate the Vietnam vets who go on honor flights? And it's laughable that you think this outcome could've been different had they "talked to him like a human." Did you miss the first 15 plus mins of the stop where Deputy Eggers asked Dehart over 40 times to exit the vehicle? She never once talked to him in any manner not fit for a human. She was extremely nice and cooperative with him. Her partner knew she had been on scene with him for that long and his refusal to exit. We, of course, now know why he wouldn't exit the car. Just like his arrest in Pigeon Forge, where he refused to get out of the car and held a gun on himself. It was an armed standoff. He had drugs on him then. Sure, there's a few things I think Deputy Mccowan could've and should've done differently to protect himself, but being forceful after 40 plus times of asking and he still refused, you're mad he got tased? Of course, you have nothing to say about Deharts part in all of this, do you?

@Jeff-zf6uy i think it's exactly misinformation. Fema had to create a "rumors fact sheet" on their website to help stop the misinformation. I know our areas are not used to having disasters where fema is needed, but they seem to have a vast misunderstanding to what fema does. Fema more so reimburses state and local agencies and signs people up for aid. People spread all over social media that these people were only going to get $750 total. That's not true. One simple search tells you that's not true. The same people complaining about the amount don't seem to know that the amount has been raised and it was $500 during Katrina. These same people don't bat an eye that fema "only gave hurricane or tornado victims $500-$700" until it happened to our area. It's like they expected fema to rescue people, build bridges, pay people multiple thousands, and bring food and supplies all within 2 days, or else there was a big conspiracy going on. People are showing up, armed or not, and trying to hurt fema workers, bully them, run them out of their area, etc. Is 100% the result of the misinformation that's been spread particularly on tik tok but facebook as well. Lastly, the topography of the areas affected has made this disaster even harder to get aid to. This isn't flat land, and with roads and bridges gone, it's caused delay responses, and people need to understand that.

@anthonythompson9471 I'm not denying that those things have never happened, but you can't claim that every black person pulled over is a racially motivated stop. I think Kenny would've mentioned something had they been messing with him beforehand. He was driving his grandma's car, so the tags didn't alert her to it being him. It's nighttime on a dark road, and it's hard to see who's in the car. She testified in the hearing that she had never met him before and didn't know him. I believe if she had a motivation to stop him, she would've lit him up the moment he swerved. But at his window, she even explained, "I saw you swerve, and I thought ok no big deal, but then you went into the other lane more than once." Had he stayed off his phone, which is against the law in Tennessee, and not drove in the other lane so carelessly, she probably wouldn't have even stopped him. I'm sorry, but she was extremely nice and calm with him and followed the current laws. With Blount County being predominantly white, do you feel the traffic stops made on white people here are racially motivated, too, or do you feel "they must've done something to get pulled over?"
