  29. NO!!!!!!! Trump is still going to trial over his involvement in Jan 6 but that really doesn't matter. Each State has the right to evaluate the evidence and decide if Trump was or wasn't involved in an insurrection. That's what the States are proclaiming.

These two States decided he in fact did so. Therefore in accord with article 3 of the 14th amendment, they found him ineligible to be on their States' ballots. Pretty simple really.
