  1. With everything that has happened to China and the fact that everything in their economy is crashing down. With the fact that many of their crops have been destroyed, and the World is experiencing a shortage of Wheat & Rice, and that there will be a shortage of Corn and Soy for the Pork Industry, China is going to Starve. The only thing that the CCP(meaning Xi Jinping) can probably do to distract the people, is act like Mao in 1962 and Create a War. Mao was successful in diverting the people away from revolt by going to war with India after the failure of the Great Leap Forward. I'm sure that Xi Jinping will think the same action against Taiwan will work for him. Wartime Economy or not, the Chinese people have proven that they will suffer privation and will sacrifice for what they believe is a just cause. They just can't win. The US and Allied Pacific Nations will go to war against China if China goes to war against Taiwan, and they will win. I believe that Xi Jinping doesn't really care if He wins, only that no matter the cost, he still holds Power after the conflict is decided.
