  1. Why not? They used race to justify her hiring, didn't they? I mean, it certainly wasn't her academic accomplishments, I mean 11 papers, really? Most professional academics accomplish that much by the time they complete their dissertation. And they are generally responsible for a minimum of 10-12 publications a year. How does she qualify for any teaching positions in an college, let alone one supposedly as prestigious as Harvard?
