  2. The Rwanda scheme was not a good deal fir the UK, but it might have been better than nothing. Apparently it did have a somewhat deterrent effect. It also included the Clause that anyone who had entered/attempted to enter the UK illegally would NEVER from then be allowed to apply for legal entry. This, of course, is now scrapped. Angela Rayner has proomised subsidised accommodation to illegal immigrants even if they are terrorists. Nothing for the natives, though.
