  2. It's not just net migration that is important. Who is leaving and who is coming in are also important fsctors. Who is leaving? Well-qualified or wealthy people who are tax-payers. Who is coming in? Benefit seekers, many of whom don't speak English, some of whom are criminals, terrorists, fanatics of a foreign religion, jihadists, most of whom have no knowledge of or interest in British geography, history, politics or culture, and indeed regard British laws as not applying to them.
