  1. Kathleen Stock at the Oxford Union was speaking in favour of the importance of Freedom of Speech. It was astonishing to me to see that ostensible students at Oxford University do not support Freedom of Speech. One wonders how they got into University in the first place.

  2. Anyone who wants to have plastic cosmetic surgery in the conviction that this will make them feel better, should commission it as an adult and should pay for it. It is a disgrace if the NHS is performing mutilating operations on young people (I mean under the age of 25) which can only ever be cosmetic, at the taxpayers' expense.
