  1. I'm extremely worried by Phillipson's attack on the very concept of the scientific method. This was developed, as we know it, in Western Europe from the 17th century AD (CE). It was contributed to by ancient Greek and medieval Arabic writings (also remember that the Hindus invented the concept of zero). It's interesting to study the folk medicine of Britain, parts of Africa and parts of South America, and elsewhere, but none of it was scientific. Can someone please give Ms Phillipson a course in The Philosophy of Science 1.0?
