Impeachment seems to be a protracted and uncertain process, and the current Vice President is not regarded as being a very desirable replacement. Trump is just as guilty for wanting to withdraw troops in the first place, and negotiating with the Taliban! - who does this?? NATO was keeping the Taliban at bay. There had been no NATO personnel killed for 18 months. The Afghans were being helped. Afghanistan was not a safe haven and breeding ground for terrorists. The civilian populations of the World - especially those in North America and Europe - were being protected. What NATO (United States) has done is equivalent to someone buying stock at the highest price and then selling it at the lowest price.
