If the boats get turned around and they get taken back to Dunkirk and put on to the beach, then what? Perhaps they can try again - how often can they afford it? So the people smugglers give them a few free trips after that? How long could they 'afford' - considering their business model seems to require a profit each of about £1M per month - to do this? Just make it totally unprofitable for anyone, including crooked lawyers, to have any part of this. Make it a criminal offence and prosecute.
