The only time you should collude with a person's delusion is during the first two years of their life, where the baby's delusion of omnipotence should be colluded with to make them internalise a feeling of safety. After that they can be gradually introduced to the reality that other people have feelings and rights that may not always correspond with their desires. This is the gradual process of socialisation.
