  1. The terms 'gender', 'feminine' and 'masculine' have no place outside a book of grammar. Biological entities do not have a gender. They have a SEX: female or male. This is determined at conception and is diagnosed at birth according to universally accepted physical criteria. It cannot be changed. It is high time to erase the term 'gender' from all non-grammatical contexts, and replace it with 'sex' which is the only relevant term. There is no 'gendered soul' outside and apart from the body. There is also no one 'correct' way in which to be a woman, or in which to be a man. Most people are heterosexual, but a minority of men and of women are homosexual or bisexual. If they are, they are still men or women - not gendered souls in the wrong body. While material in many, if not all, subjects needs to be simplified - and sometimes censored - in order to be *age-appropriate*, it is important that children should not be told anything that is not actually true - I am obviously exempting the magical mythologies of childhood. It is wicked to lie to children when you are supposed to be teaching them facts.
