Diversity in so-called 'classical' music: is this just code for banning the music that I like? (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy, Ravel, Dowland, Tippett, Puccini operas, Vaughan Williams, Elgar, and others. If you like rap, have rap at a different time - or minimalism or serialism if these are your bags (they're not mine). I don't want to erase anyone's music. Why do I get the impression that 'my' music is 'a bad influence' that must be banned?
