Just so long as we remember that the 'war against women' accusation applies in many parts of the world, especially where religions have influence: Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, India (rape), Pakistan, Bangladesh, many countries in Africa, Muslim women in Britain who are not given protection under the law (FGM, so-called 'honour' murders). Maybe try not to too parochial?
