  2. The proposed demonstrations on 11 November and the next day, Armistice Day, should be pre-emptively banned. It is absolutely possible within the law to do this. We all know that the intention to do these demonstrations is a deliberate provocation, designed to test our strength (weakness), and we know that statues and monuments will be desecrated as a deliberate insult.

However, Britain's borders should have been closed at the beginning of February, 2020, with essential entrants such as returning Britons compulsorily quarantined for two weeks. The football match between Liverpool FC and Athletico Madrid should have been cancelled. The horse-racing Cheltenham weekend should have been cancelled. Prof Sunetra Gupta et al should have been listened to. Ivermectin should have been used. What had happened to the stockpile of PPE? What happened to the 'dry-runs' of 'what to do in a Pandemic' held in late 2019?
