However, trans: embryologists say that whether the egg is fertilised by a Y-bearing or an X-bearing sperm is only the first of several switch mechanisms in the development of physical sex in the embryo, which can get out of synch over time. All mammals start out as physical hermaphrodites. Having said that, I cannot imagine 'classical' trans people like April Ashley or Jan (formerly James) Morris for one moment behaving like the current Trans Lobby which apparently wants to wage war on 51 per cent of the population and subvert freedom of enquiry and speech.
