I think Van Tan's resignation has got more to do with distancing himself from the scientific Establishment's lies about the probable origins of the Virus, and its vilification of people - as conspiracy theorists or paranoid - who suggested it might have a link with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. We now know this was policy. The question is: who is being funded by the CCP? The mortal sin here is that science has been traduced, and ammunition handed to anti-science believers.
