  1. Beau: 'Bangladesh is miles away from the Levant!'. Yes, Beau, but they are all part of the Umma, and a Muslim's allegiance is to the Umma, not to a nation state, no matter where they are living. The aim and mission statement of Islam is to form the worldwide Caliphate under Shariah law. ISIS is the model. It is not an aberration of Islam. It is the true Islam, according to them. Of course, there are many ex-Muslims who dissociate from this philosophy/politics, but they keep a low profile, for obvious reasons.
