  2. A 'true hermaphrodiite' is a person who has one ovary and one testis. It is vanishingly rare. Disorders of sexual development are usually caused by chromosomal aberrations in the formation of the germ cells - possibly resulting in a chromosomal phenotype of X0, XXY, or XXX - which cause physical and possibly mental disorders and sterility. Hormonal aberrations in development (in utero) can result in pseudo-hermaphroditism where a baby can have its sex wrongly diagnosed at birth, if there has been anomalous development of the genitals due to hormonal influences. This is less common nowadays, as there are simple, non-invasive ways of determining sex, in addition to looking at the genitals.

  3. The Supreme Court is totally unconstitutional. However, this is still a good result. Remember that the Supreme Court is a Court of Appeal. A lower Court had ruled that women having their rights and safety taken from them was a very good thing. Yes, huge efforts, time and money have gone into ruling that water is wet. Yippee! BUT the alternative would be worse. However, we still need to repeal the GRA (Gender Recognition Act, 2004) and further examine the Equality Act (2010) for modification or possible repeal. Btw, we Terfs do not want to deprive men and boys of their own private spaces. Why would we?
