The small NATO force in Afghanistan was there to protect - yes, the people of Afghanistan, but also the civilian populations of North America and Europe. Now Afghanistan is once again a safe haven and breeding ground for terrorists. World, be very afraid. Also, expect China to invade Taiwan within two years.

  3. Well, the Chinese have certainly got their money's worth out of Two-stacks. They will now have control of central Asia, and ownership of billions of dollars worth of state-of-the-art weapons. What is immediately worrying is that the crowds of desperate people trying to escape Afghanistan present a perfect target for suicide bombers, and also Kabul airport is vulnerable to being bombed from the air now that the Taliban have ownership of American planes and bombs.
