I believe that for Britain to strip someone of their citizenship, the person must have a dual nationality, otherwise they would be rendered stateless which would be in breach of International Law. Shamina Begum is officially a citizen of Bangladesh through her father, woi now lives there with his new family. Bangladesh does not want her and has said she will qualify for capital punishment if she goes there.
