  1. (Cont.) A girl who has an atypical gender-role identity should be assumed to be a perfectly normal girl who has no wish to become anything else. Statistically, she is also likely to be heterosexual. The same goes for a girl who likes SCUBA diving or mountaineering as sports. To make a girl feel that doing any of these activities is a sign that she is not really female is sexist.

  3. I think there is a lot of sex stereotyping, ie sexism, in some 'transgenderism'. There seems to an assumption that a girl who wants to be, say, a civil engineer or a particle physicist must not be a 'real' girl, because she is interested in 'boy' things. This is sexist.
