  1. What we should be totally worried about is the lack of vaccination in South America, Africa and South Asia. If the virus is left to keep mutating in most of the World's population it will come back to bite us and we will be back at square one, since viruses know no borders. This is much more important than our vaccinating children who do not have special vulnerabilities. The Delta variant requires a herd immunity of much more than 75 per cent. Possible future variants may achieve escape from existing vaccines.
