  1. It's OK to be a girl who is a tomboy or a bit 'butch' and likes physical activity. It's OK to be a 'camp' or effeminate boy who likes to make dolls' clothes. Surely we have moved beyond this stereotyping. 'If a girl reads difficult books it will make her sterile.' This can easily move to, 'If a girl learns to read it will make her sterile'. The words 'feminine', 'masculine' and 'gender' have no place outside a book of grammar. 'Butch' girls and 'camp' boys may grow up to be gay. Or they may not. So what? Are these trans activists really so homophobic? It would appear so. Again, surely we have moved beyond this? What century are these people living in?
