  1. The Thalidomide disaster was in the early 1960s. The drug damaged, to a greater or lesser extent, the development of a fetus's limbs. Some babies were born with no limbs. The US escaped it because the Doctor in the FDA in charge of approving use of drugs in the US refused to have it admitted to the country. To compare vaccines to Thalidomide is a crime worthy of the severest punishment.
