  1. Age 18 is not mentally adult. The pre-frontal cortex is not fully developed until age 25. If someone of this age, after thorough psychological investigation and treatment, still has the delusion of being in the wrong body, and feels that the only thing that will relieve their anxiety are trans-sexual medical and surgical procedures, then, if they understand the full implications of this, I neither approve nor disapprove of them having these cosmetic operations, provided that I don't pay for it.

If a person has been psychologically treated for the delusion of 'being in the wrong body', and still feels that the only thing that will relieve their anxiety is the plastic cosmetic surgery of trans-sexual medical and surgical procedures, and they have understood all the implications of it, then I neither approve nor disapprove of them having it, so long as I don't pay for it.

Bret Weinstein wonders if the Nuremberg Code might apply to these experimental medical and surgical procedures practised on children and adolescents, on the grounds that the patients were not in a position to give *informed consent*. In the case of 'sex change' that would be on the grounds of age or psychological illness. In Nuremberg, where seven doctors were hanged in 1947, it was on the grounds of the patients being prisoners in concentration camps.
